Welcome to Ovation Farm, the new home of Susan ("Susie") Wiedman and Encore Sporthorse.

The 50 acre farm is an easy drive from both the Triangle and Southern Pines. Our specialty is expert dressage training in a fun and positive environment.  All levels of rider are welcome - from beginner to FEI.

Susie Wiedman and Encore Sporthorse have been providing quality dressage training for both the horse and rider for over fifteen years. In addition to being licensed as a USEF “r” judge, Susie is a USDF gold medallist with thirty years of equestrian experience in dressage and other equestrian disciplines.

Ovation Farm was designed for training and instruction. There are 42 large and airy stalls, a 150' x 290' fenced outdoor arena with lights, 75' x 200' covered arena (expected 1/06), and 2 round pens. Horses enjoy ample individual or small group turnout as well as customized feeding plans.

Trainer and owner Susie Wiedman and the Ovation Farm barn managers reside on the property.

Construction of the 75' x 200' covered arena started 12.12.05 and was completed 12.24.05! Finishing touches on the arena and the footing should be completed in January of 2006.  We are all looking forward to training in this arena during the winter months. Come and take a look! More...
