Welcome to Ovation Farm, the new home of Susan ("Susie") Wiedman and Encore Sporthorse.

The 50 acre farm is an easy drive from both the Triangle and Southern Pines. Our specialty is expert dressage training in a fun and positive environment.  All levels of rider are welcome - from beginner to FEI.

Susie Wiedman and Encore Sporthorse have been providing quality dressage training for both the horse and rider for over fifteen years. In addition to being licensed as a USEF “r” judge, Susie is a USDF gold medalist with thirty years of equestrian experience in dressage and other equestrian disciplines.

Ovation Farm was designed for training and instruction. There are 42 large and airy stalls, a 150' x 290' fenced outdoor arena with lights, 75' x 200' covered arena, and 2 round pens. Horses enjoy ample individual or small group turnout as well as customized feeding plans.

Trainer and owner Susie Wiedman and the Ovation Farm barn managers reside on the property.

Congratulations to Carol Kelly and her purchase of Brocken. Brocken is a 2001 Hanoverian mare. Brocken had an extremely successful show career, ranking nationally with USDF prior to her purchase by Carol.

July was Linda Zang month at Ovation Farm! We were very excited to have Linda come for back to back clinics 2 weeks in July. As always we had a great time and learned a lot. We already can’t wait til the next clinic….

Susie, Grace, Meredith, Sally and Tanya made the trip to Maryland to support the PVDA Ride For Life Dressage Show. Team Encore members who went to the show raised approximately $7K for Breast Cancer Research. Thanks to all who contributed!
